It has been a very busy week at Isaac Newton School, exploring a variety of topics from Hansel and Gretel to the Stone Ages!
How would you feel if you met the witch? Well, Year 2 have introduced their ‘Emotions Wall’, allowing children to move their character across the emotions to describe how they feel. Class 6 were also proud to announce that reading has taken place 47 times in their classroom this week!
There has been an influx of fabulous homework projects arrive in Year 3 since the start of the week as the children explore the Stone Ages. Do you fancy a trip to the Stone Age Restaurant?!
Year 4 transported to Brazil where they experienced samba-style drumming. The picture below shows them learning the rhythm and the beat.
Meanwhile, Upper Key Stage 2 have been exploring fossils and Year 5 are extremely excited to become palaeontologists next week when they start to excavate some artefacts!
